Abuja — Former Senate President and the Director-General of the Atiku Campaign Organization Dr. Iyorchia Ayu was arraigned yesterday in Abuja by the Federal Government on the charges of alleged terrorism. However Justice Binta Murtala Nyako before whom the matter is pending, granted Ayu bail on self recognition while a fire-count others charge along with him, were to fulfil further conditions to secure the bail. Other accused persons are one the Jimi Franks and Paul Santos Ofana.

opinion Lagos — THE elders often say that everyone is imbued with discretion and that there is power in standing your ground when defending your future by deploying that gift of discretion. Because the restive youths of the Niger-Delta have seen their future threatened or mortgaged and feel that if they fail to act now, they would have criminally acquiesced to mortgaging the future of their children's children, they have decided to attract attention to themselves and the entire area. To this extent, they have won the initial battle. This is because the international community now sees the area as ungovernable and dangerous for foreign nationals to live in.
