Lagos — IJAW Youth Leadership Forum (IYLF), which is the umbrella body of Ijaw activists in the Niger-Delta, is scheduled to meet tomorrow at Oporoza in Detla State to critically examine the 14-count charge, including treason and terrorism, slammed on Henry Okah of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger -Delta (MEND) by the Federal Government.

Abuja — About one month after they were extradited to Nigeria from Angola over gun-running charges, the Federal Government yesterday filed treason charges against the detained leaders of Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND), Henry Okah and Edward Atatah.

Warri — MOVEMENT for Emancipation of the Niger-Delta (MEND) has contacted the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) over the refusal of the Federal Government to grant the family and lawyers of its detained leader, Henry Okah access to him in compliance with an order of a Federal High Court in Abuja, while Okah's lawyers have also filed a contempt charge in Abuja against the Federal Government .
