THE Movement for the Emancipation of Niger Delta (MEND) yesterday alleged that one of its commanders was offered $500,000.00 bribe to implicate Niger Dock Plc as the supplier of arms and navigational equipment used in the recent attack on the Bonga off shore oil rig.

Port Harcourt — Unknown gunmen yesterday hijacked an oil supply vessel belonging to West African Offshore on the Bonny River with eight crew members on board.
