Chief executive officer, Morgan Nzwere, told reporters in Harare recently that the company, which moved 6?754 metric tonnes of seed maize into Africa during the half- year ending September 30, 2011, had reached market saturation in Zimbabwe where further growth was now impossible.

The NBS, in a recent report, foresees slower gross domestic product (GDP) growth rate of 6.50 per cent compared to 7.36 per cent in 2011, a decline in value of total trade by 11.03 per cent compared with an increase of 47.87 per cent in 2011, as well as a rise of 13.57 per cent in inflation rate in the year 2012 as against 10.91 per cent in 2011.

Daily Trust (Abuja)Umuahia - Abia State Governor Theodore Orji has called on the presidential monitoring committee on the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) to proffer solution to the issue of abandoned projects in the state.
Orji, who made the call at an interactive session of the presidential monitoring committee on NDDC with stakeholders of the nine oil producing states in Port Harcourt, lamented that some contractors abandon their jobs after they have been mobilized.
